Motoblot 2016
Another year and another rousing success at Motoblot 2016, the annual custom motorcycle and hot rod show located in the heart of the West Town neighborhood in our hometown, Chicago. Despite the looming threat of rain and temperatures rising well into the 90’s (with a fair share of humidity), people turned out in droves to check out the block party right behind the Cobra Lounge and All Rise Brewing Co. Each year, Fulton Street closes down and fills with food trucks, vendors, music stages, and most importantly, a ride in bike show, separated by country of origin (Germany, Japan, Italy, U.S.).
Analog Motorcycles posted up for the weekend to take in the festivities, accompanied in the vendor area by our friends and colleagues, The American Motorcyclist Association (who commissioned and are raffling off the Analog AMA R75GS), Rebel Yell Bourbon (also hosting a contest featuring an Analog Motorcycles build, El Matador 2.0), and Whiskey Grade (showing off the Royal Enfield Royal Scrambler, too). Enthusiasts of all walks braved the heat to check out bikes, drink beer, grub at some food trucks, and check out 20 live bands.
Between the delicious tacos, ice cold beer, good conversation, and about a billion bottles of water, the Analog Motorcycles team couldn’t have asked for a better event.
Here’s to the folks at Motoblot, keep up the good work.
