Barber Vintage Festival 2016 – Birmingham, AL

The Barber Vintage Festival, hosted at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, is the year’s must attend event for motorcycle enthusiasts, particularly those excited by older machines. This year was the fourth year running that Analog Motorcycles made the pilgrimage, but the first year we set up in the Fan Zone, right in the thick of it all. We set up a booth to sell our wares (in hopes of recouping the gas money it takes to make the trek) and afford us the opportunity to spend time with old friends and make new ones.
Analog Motor Goods debuted a couple of new components we’ve started manufacturing, the Retro Lighting Kit and A2T (Analog Tail Tidy), both universal lighting options for custom projects. We also brought a few of our favorite selections from our existing offerings, Simpson Helmets, Analog apparel, and Motogadget and Motone electronic components, complete with a fully functional display to prove just how nice it all is.
Throughout the weekend, we had the pleasure of catching up with friends from near and far at Ace Corner, including Chicago neighbors Federal Moto. We toured the Motus Motorcycles factory during an open house event they hosted and lusted after that baby block 1650cc V4 monster that powers the Motus. And certainly, no trip to Barber is complete without a requisite pit stop at a Waffle House along the way.

We sent a few photographers (Brandon Lajoie, Enrique Parrilla, and Travis Holland) off to have some private time with our new XS650 build, Reloaded, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the official release of our new custom if you didn’t get the chance to see it at Barber.
